AlKazemi Group's trading division serves a multitude of sectors including oil & gas, construction  and power among others. This includes our work on major projects for our clients that ranges from Kuwait Petroleum Corporation subsidiaries, mainly Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), the Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW), Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and Ministry of Communications (MOC).

Originally established as Gulf Trading and Maritime Est. in 1970, the company was formed to carry out trading and shipping chartering services.

Upon its success and growth, the business further diversified its operations expanding to free trade zone warehousing, and air & land transportation services across the GCC and MENA region. Additionally, GMTC is able to provide worldwide shipping logistics services through partnerships with international companies, making it a one-stop-full-solution for any business with transportation needs.

GMTC is a well-established shipping agency in Kuwait, fully registered with the Kuwait Port Authorities, Customs Authorities & Ministry of Communication of Kuwait, for agency representation and handling of any type of vessels.

In 1997, the company was converted into a limited liability entity, and renamed according to its expanded services, while also representing world renowned shipping and trading agencies, with a vision to encompass a full scope service to its regional clientele, including oil sector companies, construction & contracting sector companies, embassies, governments, and private clientele. This has enabled GMTC to carry out shipping services of all ranges, including project cargo, refrigerated cargo, packing and crating services, door to door services, over-dimensional and heavy cargo, as well as the movement of hazardous and dangerous goods, and much more. This is further enabled through its diverse services and sizeable asset of machinery, vehicles, trailers, and equipment, along with the wide variety of manufacturing companies which operate and sell under the GMTC brand.
